With only a matter of weeks remaining on our round the world journey before heading back to the UK, New York was our final destination before crossing the pond to Europe. We have stayed in such a vast variety of accommodation on our travels over nine months and opted for something that would compliment the great city of New York.
So we stayed at the Library Hotel in Manhattan central to everything any traveler would want to see whilst in The Big Apple. We found it to be a 10 minute walk to Times Square and about a 20 minute walk to Central Park.
The hotel was extremely beautiful and quaint with a very peaceful lounge area where we enjoyed free wine and cheese between 5pm and 8pm. Our room was magical and extremely comfortable with a power shower and not a slight disturbance of the city traffic.
We did not want to leave the staff at the hotel because of their genuine interest in our travels and stories plus they bent over backwards to help our stay that slightly more special.
There is no doubt we will be returning to the Library Hotel in New York and recommend this little gem to everyone.
